This agreement is between you and Evans Studio Ltd (Company No. 16406021, England and Wales), the maker of the Merlin software. By installing or using Merlin you accept it.
On purchase you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Merlin on up to three Apple computers that you own or control. It is a one-time purchase: the license covers every update to Merlin, delivered free through the app.
You may not resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute Merlin or your license key; use one license across a team (each person needs their own); or remove proprietary notices. Nothing in this agreement limits rights you have under applicable law.
Merlin drives Claude Code under your own Anthropic account. Your use of Claude Code and any AI output remains subject to Anthropic's terms of service. Merlin's agents and worker sessions can read and modify files and execute commands on your machine at your direction; you are responsible for what you ask them to do and for reviewing what they produce.
Merlin is licensed, not sold. Evans Studio Ltd retains all rights in the software and its brand. Everything you make with Merlin is yours.
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. If Merlin is not for you, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a refund.
Merlin is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Software that orchestrates AI agents on your machine is powerful; use judgement, keep backups, and review agent output before relying on it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Evans Studio Ltd's total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount you paid for your license. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of data caused by actions you asked agents to perform. Nothing in this agreement excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
This license ends automatically if you materially breach it. You can end it any time by deleting the software.
This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the consumer law of your country of residence grants you mandatory protections and venue.
